Building agency and creating space for Foster Youth

Camp Atlas was born from the belief that nature and community can be transformative and that every young person deserves the chance to experience that transformation.

Our mission is to fuse immersive outdoor experiences with real, relevant knowledge about the systems and situations our youth navigate every day. We want our campers to leave with a stronger sense of agency; knowing how to make decisions, advocate for themselves, and use nature as a grounding force in their lives.

In addition to fostering connection and empowerment, Camp Atlas is committed to bridging the summer learning loss that disproportionately affects foster youth. By incorporating academic enrichment and creative learning into camp life, we help youth stay engaged, confident, and prepared for the school year ahead.

$600 funds a week of summer camp for one youth

$250 pays for one camper's Math & Literacy lessons

$100 pays for one camper's meals for the week

$50 pays for one camper's ride to camp

$25 pays for one camper's single meal
