The 2011 Cade Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, (93 points Vinous), features the bright savory and floral notes typical of the year, as well as dark red cherries, raspberry jam, cloves, mint, and pine. The balance of high-toned aromatics and plush fruit works beautifully here, as the elements play off each other nicely. It is a great representation of what can be made from Howell Mountain fruit.
