Fostering Change Gala 2023
Friday, April 28, 2023

Honoring Courageous Leaders, Former Board Chairs Lisa Spinali, Allison Eisenhardt & Lisa Pearson

Thanks to our generous community, tickets are sold out for the 2023 Fostering Change Gala! You can sign up for the waitlist on our Tickets & Tables page. Please contact Maggie Swanson at maggie@sfcasa.org with questions.

With each new home, school and caregiver, children in foster care have to face uncertainty in their lives head on. Their bravery every day is essential to their survival and through San Francisco CASA, you can ensure that these children don’t have to do it alone. With the consistent care and support of a volunteer advocate, foster youth develop their strengths, face their fears and learn to navigate their world. Volunteer CASAs advocate for whatever youth need to explore their potential strengths -- whether in the courtroom, the classroom, or beyond, from eyeglasses to internships, music lessons to college tours. With a CASA at their side, foster youth are more likely to access financial aid and academic support and, year after year, more than 85% of SFCASA high school seniors graduate, compared to just 56% of foster youth statewide.

CASA volunteers show up bravely for their courageous foster youth through the struggles, opportunities and joys of being a kid. Thanks to you, last year a record 393 foster youth received the support of a consistent, caring adult and with your help we’ll grow to support 500 youth in the years to come.

Join us on Friday, April 28th at 6pm for an evening of inspiration, cocktails, dinner, and a live auction. And stay for the after party with DJ Ren spinning until 11pm!

Whether you’re able to join us or not, help us honor our volunteers, youth, gala honorees or anyone you’d like to honor with a personal message and tribute gift of any amount.
